Ben and Mary Jane Mulligan in Mellifluence chased down a select fleet taking part in the Captain’s Chase, run yesterday by Adrian Cooper, ably assisted by family members on and off the water.
Starting from the back, the Mulligans came in first, in spite of having to take a 720-turn inside the harbour, just for fun, on the instructions of the race officer. Gabriel Greer and Frazer Mitchell, who also sportingly took the penalty, came in a tight second, with the whole fleet finishing inside a minute.
