Dun Laoghaire sailors Dave Gorman and Chris Doorly emphatically defended the Championship of Ireland at the weekend (July 22-24), with no fewer than three firsts in five races and a 10-point margin over their National YC clubmates Ian Mathews and Keith Poole in second.
Hammy Baker and Charlie Horder of Strangford Lough YC finished a close third in a fleet of 21 boats at the event hosted by Cushendall SBC.
