Green, Mathews have a blast

Alan Green and Ian Mathews, sailing Frequent Flyer, took the win in the only race of the day yesterday (Aug 16th), with Thingamabob second and Perfect Ten third. After some spectacular broaching in Race 1, Race 2 was called off, with winds in excess of 30kts reported. Full results

Today's Captain's Prize race also was cancelled as the strong winds continued or even strengthened overnight. 

Doorly, Green reach to victory

Chris Doorly and Alan Green took the winning hooter on Dublin Bay last night (Aug 15th), followed by Tom Galvin and Hugh & Michael Cahill.

Murphy, Sherry share the spoils

Tom Murphy and Peter Sherry shared the spoils in the Dublin Bay racing on Saturday (August 9th), in a day of contrasting winds and breakages.

Gormans lead the way

16 Flying Fifteens turned out for the DBSC race last night (Thursday, August 9th). There was a force 3 S/SE wind, with the tide flooding. After the success of their children in recent Optimist events, it was the turn of the parents to take centre stage, with Dave and Sarah Gorman taking the gun in a comfortable win. Full results


Maguire, Burgess hold on for win

Justin Maguire and Frank Burgess fought a tacking duel to hold on to the win in Saturday's (July 19th) sole DBSC race, which had been postponed due to fog.
