Alan Green of the National YC, crewing with Charles Apthorp, is in the lead overnight at the Mid-Winder Series at Datchet, on the Queen Mother reservoir near Heathrow.
Apthorp and Green scored second, first and third in today’s races, with the crew clearly enjoying himself: ‘Wind 5 to 10 knots. Sunglasses on nearly all afternoon. Great close sailing!’
