With winds gusting force five, it was business as usual on Sunday last as Davids Gorman and Cahill took their now customary three wins from three in the NYC Frostbite series.
The pair now boast a spectacular 7 points from 9 races (2 discards) and barring miracles must be considered home and hosed. The main interest now lies in the battle for second, with Charlie Boland and Andrew Paul on 21 nett, with Michael McCambridge and Peter Murphy on 25.
The event’s excellent committee moved the course into Scotsman’s Bay to provide some shelter from a strong and gusty westerly, which made for interesting patterns coming off the East Pier combined with thrilling planing conditions.
