Gorman, Cahill romp to victory with clean sweep of Frostbites

David Gorman and new crew David Cahill romped to victory in the final day of the Woodbine Property Management NYC Frostbite Series on Sunday.  The pair scored a faultless 12 wins from 12 over the event to finish a full 21 nett points clear of the chasing fleet.


Force five stroll for Gorman and Cahill

With winds gusting force five, it was business as usual on Sunday last as Davids Gorman and Cahill took their now customary three wins from three in the NYC Frostbite series. 


All too easy for Gorman and Cahill

David Gorman and David Cahill stretched their lead with ease in the NYC Frostbites at the weekend (October 21), with three more wins to cap their clean start to the competiton.  

Their uninterrupted success means they have 5 nett points, a full 7 ahead of second-placed Niall Coleman and Michael Quinn. Dunmore East visiting sailors Charlie Boland and Andrew Paul are doing some damage to local pride, lying third on 14 points, some distance ahead of the chasing fleet.

Gorman and Cahill bullet the Frostbites

With three wins from three, the Davids Gorman and Cahill put down an emphatic marker in the first Sunday of the NYC Frostbites series. Great wind, combined with great courses set by Ian Matthews and his race committee, made for a wonderful day's sailing.

Niall Coleman and Michael Quinn got a solid set or results to put them second overall, while Charlie Boland and Andrew Paul, travelling from Waterford for big fleet action in Dublin Bay, lie third. Full results.
